Hace unos a\u00f1os, cuando cambiamos de marca, tambi\u00e9n cambiamos nuestro dominio a \u00abAI\u00bb (www.darc.ai). En aquel momento los clientes nos preguntaban por qu\u00e9 \u00abAI\u00bb y qu\u00e9 significaba para nosotros. Lo curioso es que ahora otros clientes nos dicen: \"Hab\u00e9is puesto AI por la moda, \u00bfeh?;<\/p>\n\n

Lo llam\u00e1bamos \u00abPorque la IA no es el futuro, es el presente\u00bb, dec\u00edamos entonces.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

Esta era la explicaci\u00f3n que ten\u00edamos en nuestra p\u00e1gina de Perfil de por qu\u00e9 elegimos simb\u00f3licamente AI y no com o gr. Ya hab\u00edamos aplicado t\u00e9cnicas de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico incluso en nuestros propios proyectos, pero no te ocultaremos que ni siquiera nosotros comprend\u00edamos en aquel momento lo acertada, cierta y, sobre todo, pertinente que era aquella \u00abcita\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n

Un poco de nuestra intuici\u00f3n, un poco de nuestra obsesi\u00f3n por la tecnolog\u00eda, un poco de nuestro sector de software y mucha suerte nos colocan en la feliz posici\u00f3n de poder decir que hicimos un excelente posicionamiento en el momento m\u00e1s oportuno. Un posicionamiento que parec\u00eda tan lejano y que ahora ya parece tan habitual.<\/p>\n\n

La verdad es que nos ha pillado desprevenidos este brote en ai, \u00a1a nosotros y a todo el planeta! No temeremos decir que puede haber cogido desprevenidos incluso a quienes estaban trabajando febrilmente en ello.<\/p>\n\n

No tengo tiempo para seguir los acontecimientos.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

Probablemente sea la primera vez que nosotros (y todos los fan\u00e1ticos de la tecnolog\u00eda del planeta) dejamos de sentirnos inc\u00f3modos por no poder seguir el ritmo de los avances. Ya no tiene nada que ver con lo tecnol\u00f3gicamente \u00abinteligente\u00bb o actualizado que uno est\u00e9.

La velocidad y los avances superan la capacidad humana de seguir el ritmo, por la sencilla raz\u00f3n de que en estos momentos no es s\u00f3lo el hombre quien hace evolucionar la tecnolog\u00eda, sino que \u00e9sta evoluciona por s\u00ed misma.<\/p>\n\n

\u00bfEstamos contentos?; <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

Seguro que estamos entumecidos.<\/p>\n\n

Cualquiera que haya estudiado la historia sabe lo que ha hecho el Homo Sapiens cada vez que una fuerza incontrolable ha ca\u00eddo en sus manos. Desde el primer cuchillo, el avi\u00f3n, la p\u00f3lvora, la radiaci\u00f3n y ahora la IA.

Clich\u00e9, pero con el cuchillo desenfund\u00f3 y mat\u00f3, con el avi\u00f3n viaj\u00f3 y bombarde\u00f3, con la p\u00f3lvora hizo t\u00faneles y mat\u00f3 a masas de gente, con la radiaci\u00f3n fabric\u00f3 bombas nucleares y esc\u00e1neres CT, y ahora con la IA \u00bfqu\u00e9 har\u00e1? La IA podr\u00eda ser algo m\u00e1s fuerte que todo lo anterior junto.

La historia ense\u00f1a que se utilizar\u00e1 para el mal y la cuesti\u00f3n no es si causar\u00e1 el mal, sino si el mal que causar\u00e1 ser\u00e1 menor que el bien que crear\u00e1. Nadie puede decirlo, pero cualquiera que haya estudiado la historia y comprenda el poder que se despliega ante \u00e9l s\u00f3lo puede sentirse insensible. Ni feliz ni infeliz.<\/p>\n\n
